This is the Gold Release of POSitive Retail Manager 5.5.1 and POSitive Retail Manager SE 5.5.1.
PRM 5.5.1 includes several changes in order to comply with current PCI Credit Card processing standards and requirements. If you are processing credit cards through PRM, you need to update to this release.
We recommend performing a complete backup of PRM, including backing up the SQL data and backing up the entire PRM directory before installing the update. In addition, if you are processing credit cards through PRM, be sure to take any payments on outstanding internet orders and close your credit card batch before installing. After you install the update and run PRM for the first time, several changes will be made to your data in order to make it more secure. If you have any issues after the update, contact support immediately!
Do NOT install this build if using Multi-Site before contacting POSitive Support!
You need to follow a specific sequence if using multi-site, as we have added several new tables. Your replication will need to be adjusted. Contact us for more information.
This release fixes several issues and adds several new features from releases prior to 5.5.
